Vehicle Monitoring and Diagnostic System

Vehicle Monitoring Diagnostics allows maintenance personnel to remotely monitor mining vehicles with real-time data.

Maintenance can then be performed depending on need rather than using a calendar-based schedule. Deployment of this “condition based maintenance” system in mining vehicles could save hundreds of thousands of dollars annually.

IMT-VMD features all of the connectivity required to implement powerful and inexpensive in-vehicle solutions for mining applications requiring wired or unwired sensor network connectivity and support.

IMT-Vehicle Monitoring & Diagnostic System provides vehicle network connectivity with 802.11b/g WiFi wireless networks as well as direct connection with GPS receivers, vehicle sensors and operator display and data entry consoles.

The IMT-VMD module can also be connected directly to the vehicle electrical system to place knob values, switch positions and meter values on a wireless network.

The Push to Talk Wireless Telephone boasts improvements to its industrial design and handset ergonomics. Network-Video-with-TabletWireless Video System

KPI Industrial Controls’ Portable Video Remote Control Wireless System gives the operator clear video pictures of the work zone even when they are not in visual contact with the equipment. The IMT-PVS provides up to 1,000 feet (304.8 metres) of undisturbed and accurate video for safe control with dual LCD screens.
The IMT Video Monitoring System gives the operator clear video pictures of critical areas around the equipment which are not in direct line of sight. Enclosed in its own rugged, watertight case, power for both the cameras and monitors is provided through a single cable attached to the vehicle’s 12/24 volt DC power supply.
Portable, rugged, lightweight and compact components make the IMT-PVS ideal for tight locations and the harshest environments. Used in mining (for LHDs, bolters, scoop trams), chemical processing, law enforcement, surveillance, military, bomb disposal, and similar applications where direct line of sight is neither feasible nor safe.
